Doñarepa, a renowned pre-cooked corn flour brand, essential for making arepas and various recipes, aimed to develop its website, showcasing brand and product information, and connecting with consumers.
Challenge
Create a dedicated space for arepas, a staple food in Colombian families, highlighting regional variations in preparation and accompaniments, showcasing Colombia’s culinary diversity.
Action Plan
To address this challenge, we implemented effective strategies:

Designed a graphic line inspired by Colombian cultural traditions, showcasing the country’s identity.

Introduced interactive elements, such as detailed maps, to illustrate regional arepa variations, improving the educational experience customers would get when browsing the website.
The outcome
We created a website showcasing Colombia’s rich culinary heritage, providing detailed product and recipe information. To reach a broader audience, we adapted the site into three international versions: Panama, Costa Rica, and Chile.
The website design was selected as a finalist in the Clap Awards, competing in the category of Best Website Graphic Design for a Product or Service.
